.32 H&R Magnum 130 Grain Poly Coat Wide Meplat Semi Wadcutter.

This load is tailor made for the compact J Frame S&W and Ruger LCR revolvers currently being produced.

One of the key attributes of the .32 H&R in a snubby revolver is manageable recoil. This wide meplat semi wadcutter design is a heavy for caliber projectile that will provide deep penetration and is loaded at a velocity that is still manageable. In testing, the bullet was pushed both slower and faster in terms of velocity and the sweet spot was right at 850 FPS from a 2" J Frame/LCR. Much faster and the recoil became quite unpleasant and shot to shot recovery time was affected at a level that was unsatisfactory. With the Poly Coat, it allows the shooter to shoot with less smoke, less lead exposure, and more time between cleaning. The Ultimate Carry J Frame Model 432 shown in the pics has over 1,000 rounds through it and the bore has not been scrubbed yet.
